Monday Morning MOJO 11/26/07

Good Morning MOJO,

“…enjoy it…it goes by so fast and those where some of the most memorable times in our lives” They try to get us to realize it when we are in Elementary School…then High School…then College…then when we start our Career…then when we get Married…then when our Children are Born…then Raising our Children and being with them while they grow up. Our parents and those older than us, who have the most experience because they have already lived what we are experiencing today, try to make sure we slow down long enough to appreciate the moment…to appreciate what we have today because they know how awesome it truly is…they have already lived it. Unfortunately for so many of us we are too preoccupied with the opportunities of tomorrow to slow down long enough to appreciate the gift of today.

I was with my family and some friends in the Bahamas last week on an awesome vacation creating memories and I really focused on being in the moment…not thinking about tomorrow…next week….next month… No phone, no e-mail, no texting, no checking messages, not voice mail… It was AWESOME!!!!! So, why is it more times than not it isn’t until the time has past and we reflect back that we realize they where right. Think about it…imagine if you could go back and do it again how much more you would appreciate it they second time knowing what you know today. If we are always focused on tomorrow and wanting the next thing to happen we won’t realize how awesome today is.

We all have to remember today is yesterday’s tomorrow and it was what we where hoping for yesterday, last week, last month, last year. Be fired up about today…tomorrow will come soon enough and once it is here, all we are going to wish is we could have yesterday back again.

Make it a GREAT week!!!

Happy Holiday’s,

"To avoid criticism...say nothing, do nothing, be nothing. If you want to get ahead in the world, you'll have to do all three. So expect to be criticized."
